7 chick flicks to watch

It’s hard to know what to do in the evening, especially with social distancing still in effect. Well, fear no more! We have you covered with a list of 7 chick flicks for you to watch and relax to.

John Tucker Must Die

A complete classic! John Tucker is the captain of the basketball team and a stud at his highschool with multiple girlfriends – that is until they decide to come together to break his heart. A film full of revenge and witty lines from women being badass – this is a definitely worthy chick flick.

50 First Dates

Adam Sandler and chick flicks don’t go well – but stay with us! This film pairs Sandler and Drew Barrymore, as Sandler falls in love with Barrymore but there’s a twist – she loses her memory every night. He must make her fall in love every day and it’s the sweetest thing. Goosebumps everytime.

How to Be Single

Whilst most films on this list may be focused on finding love, this is the opposite. This film shows the power of friends and that you don’t need a relationship to be happy. It’s girl power to the max with some incredible shots of New York. Jealous!

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Let’s be honest, we can all relate to a shopping addiction. This film follows a young woman who lands a job as a financial journalist but she’s terrible with money. Despite this addiction, she’s fabulous and manages to bring her life back around. Inspiring and fun to watch.

Moulin Rouge!

This musical features some iconic songs and mixes them together for some amazing scenes. A romance set in Paris with Baz Luhrmann’s fabulous vision and spectacle. Who wouldn’t fall in love with Ewan McGregor?

The Devil Wears Prada

Meryl Streep as an iconic editor and an amazing icon – need I say more? A young journalist gets a job as a fashion magazine and learns that the world of fashion isn’t full of vapid idiots and gets schooled. A true guilty pleasure, and perfect for any movie night.

Miss Congeniality

She’s beauty and she’s grace, and she might become Miss United States. Sandra Bullock as an FBI agent forced to go undercover to discover who’s threatening the Miss United States beauty pageant. Makeovers and hilarious lines – it’s an amazing watch.
