VOICE INTERNATIONAL
Not only do they have sensibly priced jewellery, but they empower women in Uganda by offering them creative employment with a fair wage and working conditions. Voice International aim to raise them above the poverty line and give them a better quality of life. The jewellery is crafted from silver, brass, recycled paper and sustainably-sourced sisal, rattan and Ankole. The designs are plastic free and the packaging is completely recyclable.
RHIMANI
A company that sources all the sustainable materials with packaging that is completely biodegradable. Rhimani also supports conservation and education in Kenya and the founder wants to support these causes as much as she can. Every purchase donates 10% of the makings towards a charity that focuses on these issues.
WOLF & GYPSY
Designed in the UK by Tori Shay, and they are handcrafted by artisans in ethical workshops in India. The brand ensures that conditions are safe and of a decent standard for workers and that the quality stays strong. Wolf & Gypsy reduce their carbon footprint and harmful impacts to the environment. They state on their website that they want to ensure the safety of children and the planet through their brand.
MATHE
Fully sourced by local supply stores in Greece where the company is based with all the materials coming from the area. Mathe use packaging that uses recycled paper and the shipping packages are fully biodegradable and compostable.
JLANI
The company uses eco-friendly accessories and breaks the mould in changing what ethical jewellery looks like. JLANI blends delicate details with rough stainless steel to make something beautiful. They celebrate the environment with each design and have many fans already!
