Things we want in 2021

Let’s just say that we can’t wait to see the end of 2020. It’s been a nightmare of a year for everyone and it’s definitely been a rollercoaster. Instead of looking back, we’re looking to the further and here are things we want in 2021.

MORE SUSTAINABILITY

Strangely enough, fashion sustainability has been great for 2020. More people have pushed for sustainable clothing such as handmade designers or charity shops. We want to see this pushed more towards the environment to ensure that we actually save the planet. There’s only so long left to rescue our lovely planet, and we’re hoping 2021 is the year,

MORE SUPPORT FOR WFM

Work from home has been forced in 2020 due to the pandemic. Whilst no companies have been cruel or unhelpful, mental health has been forgotten. For 2021, we’re hoping that WFM is normalised a little more and that most employers will support staff throughout their work and provide mental support.

ABIDING RULES

No one could’ve predicted the pandemic, but we do wish that people followed rules more. People ignoring wearing masks or washing their hands seems easy – but many don’t. Some people believe the virus isn’t real or won’t hurt them, so our hopes for 2021 is that people follow the health and safety rules a bit more. It’ll benefit everyone if you just follow the rules.

NORMAL SOCIALISING

It’s been was the year of social distancing, so it’s normal to want to go back to normal! Freely going for food with friends and family, or going on a date without worrying about doing a Covid test. We’ll probably hate it when we’re there, but nightclubs and bars are forever missed.

BETTER CARE

In general, we hope that everyone takes better care of themselves in 2021. With the scare of Covid, many people have begun to be paranoid. This isn’t necessarily the solution. In 2021, everyone should be given better care and take more time for themselves – whether it’s mental or physical.
