7 tips to help your hair grow faster

Beauty is measured in many different ways with bald being beautiful, but some women want to have long luxurious hair. Whilst a wig is the healthiest and easiest solution, to get a good wig can be expensive.

Check out these pro tips to guide you in the right direction to get that long hair you’ve always dreamed off.

CUT IT FREQUENTLY

Stay with us, if you want long hair that is healthy – then get a trim. It’ll get rid of split ends that could lead to your hair losing length. Get rid of the split ends and then the volume, shine and smoothness will return making your hair grow faster and healthier.

EAT THE RIGHT FOODS

The food that goes into your body affects your hair. You need to feed your hair from the inside and foods such as protein is one that increases your hair length. Foods like fish, beans, nuts and whole grains, as well as a balanced diet can strengthen your hair.

AVOID HEATED STYLING TOOLS

Heat is a nightmare to your hair, and heat protectants don’t always work. They can help protect your hair only slightly, but if you’re straightening everyday – you may be damaging your hair. This leads to breakage and frizz which does not mean long gorgeous hair.

SKIP DAILY SHAMPOO

Of course everyone wants to be clean, but shampooing everyday is dangerous. Shampooing it less allows your natural oils to penetrate your hair and allows it to repair itself by hydration.

SLEEP ON SILK PILLOWCASES

Sleeping and getting better hair is a possibility, and all you need is a silk pillowcase. It avoids tangles and breakages, therefore making your hair longer and tougher.

COOL OFF IN THE SHOWER

Hot water is not great for your hair or skin, that’s a fact. Turn the temperature down when you are cleaning out shampoo or conditioner. Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle and strengthen your hair!

IF ALL ELSE FAILS, TRY VITAMINS

The diet doesn’t work and other techniques aren’t helping, then try supplements. Look for ones that contain important vitamins like biotin and C and B vitamins that target hair health. Added bonus for the fact that they can help your skin and nails too.
