Everybody wants long and glorious nails – but they come with much responsibility. Nails are so much more complicated that you could imagine, and there’s a lot more to growing your nails than just stop biting them.
Here are 5 easy steps to help you gain stronger and much healthier nails.
FILING
This may look quite badass, but there is a certain way you should file. Make sure that you do it in one direction to avoid splitting the nail and try to buy a crystal nail file as they’ll seal your nail as you file.
OILS
Invest in cuticle oil as the pure essential elements will nourish your nails from inside out. It’s a magic elixir that’ll give you a relatively healthy boost that’ll make your nails look and feel amazing.
MOISTURISE
Arguably the biggest cause of nails splitting is the lack of moisture on your hands. Make sure you obviously wash your hands, but use a hand cream that contains vitamin E to replenish any of your hydration lost.
PROTECTION
Nails that are exposed to water and dried often will tend to split. This means that you’ll have to wear fabulous gloves when you clean or do household chores – but this means that you don’t have to touch gross and dangerous surfaces. Win win!
